Hello there!

My name is Angelie Pauline Bañares, but you may call me teacher Gel.

I am 23 years old and I am from the Philippines.

I’ve been teaching English for quite some time now and I have acquired a certificate for Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I love teaching.

That’s why I am taking Bachelor of Secondary Education, major in English.

I am currently in my last year and will be graduating soon. Once I finish studying, I am planning to work full time as an ESL teacher.

I have handled one on one and group video classes to kids and adults.

My teaching style and approach depends on the learner’s needs and language proficiency.

I always make sure that my class is full of fun so that my students will not feel pressured in learning English.

From my experience, students learn faster if they enjoy what they are doing.

My free time activities include watching movies, playing mobile games and reading.

During holidays, I travel to different places and take lots of photos.

I enjoy having free talk conversations about travel, food, culture and photography.

I am sociable, outgoing, funny and friendly.

I know for sure that my students will not have a hard time learning with me.

I’d like to help them achieve their full potential and be able to express themselves fluently and accurately in English.
