2001年：O-one （オーワンとだけ言います）

アメリカ英語

month、day、year　の順で並べる

英語の日付の書き方

簡略な書き方

略式の書き方は、単にスラッシュで数字を区切ります。

一般的には、この表記が主に使われます。

例）18/10/2016

丁寧な書き方

ビジネスなど丁寧な書き方では、月名は数字でなくアルファベットで表記し、日付も序数詞であることを示す接尾辞を添えて記述します。

例）October 18th, 2020

日付の名称は長いものもあるので、略語で短縮して書くこともあります。

ビジネス文書や請求書などといった重要なものについては、必ずフォーマルな書き方を使うようにしましょう。
